Upcoming Asus smartphones should have built-in self-cameras

Asus has patented self-camera cameras that can integrate its upcoming smartphone models. When we say "may," we are referring to the fact that, not always, a patent registration results in the release of the product itself. In most cases, companies register patents as a way of reserving the use of certain technologies that will become a market standard. In the case of the front-facing "hole" on the screen, we already have two smartphones on the market, the Samsung Galaxy A8s and Huawei Nova 4. Other manufacturers, mainly in China, have already adopted the camera that comes out of the body of the device . While the market does not decide, Asus has already secured two patents for camera design. One of them talks about the pop-up style camera, one that jumps out of the device when called via the app. In the image below, we can see, also, that three models were developed: one small, one medium and another very large. The other patent concerns the camera that is integrated to the screen of the device, forming a kind of hole in high relief.
It is too early to say which camera design will be user-preferred and massively adopted. Whatever, or even both, Asus will be ready to adapt to market trends.
