Facebook Messenger finally began testing a dark theme, gaining a new addition to the theme with the white background available since the app was released for Android and iOS. The bad part of this news is that the "dark mode" of the messenger is not yet available to everyone. According to programmer Jane Manchun Wong, the novelty is still incomplete, something typical of a feature being tested, and has been released for testing in a limited number of countries. Despite the statement, it does not say which countries exactly have access to the resource.
The novelty appears in the "I" section of Messenger, but apparently is not available for Brazil. Either way, it's a great addition to make the app look more enjoyable especially for use in dimly lit environments.
